Admission Policy
St. Agnes Catholic Academy has an open admission policy. No person, on the grounds of race, color, disability or national origin, is excluded or otherwise subjected to discrimination in the receiving of services. Nor does the school discriminate in hiring, promotion, discharge, pay, fringe benefits, job training, classification, referral and other aspects of employment on the basis of race, color, disability, age, gender, or national origin. The schools of the archdiocese follow the Florida Catholic Conference guidelines with regard to the age of admission to Pre-K, Kindergarten or 1st grade.
To be enrolled at St. Agnes Catholic Academy, a student must be the appropriate age on September 1, 2025.
If entering PK2 2 years old
If entering PK3 3 years old (must be potty trained)
If entering PK4 4 years old
If entering Kindergarten 5 years old
If entering 1st Grade 6 years old
It is the customary practice of St. Agnes Catholic Academy to only consider new students from PK2 - 6th grade.
St. Agnes Catholic Academy is a mission of St. Agnes Catholic Church, as such preference is given to applications from current and active parishioners, applicants who have siblings currently in St. Agnes and Alumni of the school who are active members of St. Agnes Parish.
International Students
All international students must submit their academic transcripts to a credential evaluation agency for a course-by-course evaluation including credits earned. Course-by-course evaluations may be obtained from the list provided in this link . If you have any other questions, please contact our Admissions Director.
Our school, in accordance with federal law, does not inquire about the immigration status of our students. However, it is our responsibility to remind all families that it is a violation of the Tourist B-1 or B-2 Visa to attend classes while on a B-1 or B-2 Visa, and doing so could result in a cancellation of that visa. If a family is considering changing a B-1 or B-2 Tourist Visa for an F-1 Student Visa, they should consult with an immigration lawyer to help them understand the implications of completing the application.
Should the family decide to apply for an F-1 Visa, St. Agnes Catholic Academy will assist the family accordingly. The student may not attend school until his/her status in the United States allows the student to attend school. An I-20 application will be processed after the student is accepted and registered.
